I am finding IE8 to be more intrusive that seems to protect me more from the Internet but less from Microsoft and their paid partners.

I have literally spent the entire day looking for the best internet privacy software and have found a million different answers. I am looking for a program that will erase any information that might have to do with my internet activity. I want it so someone looking at my computer from the outside couldn’t even tell i had been on the internet. Including forms search history videos, pictures credit card information etc. Is there any program that can do this and if there isn’t what comes the closest and how good of a job does it do.
