I don’t know. However if you’re going to start your blog at your own domain with different pages, you need a web host providing wordpress.
One of these services is reachable at: http://bluehost-service.atspace.com . Their service is really great and easy to use.

if you are using wordpress.com, then you can’t use plugins, but if you have downloaded wordpress to your computer and you are using it with a web host, then yes, it is plug-in friendly :P

Every plugin is slightly different. Some plugin’s will actually create their own heading in your dashboard, or they will load themselves under an existing heading. Depending on what the plugin is meant to do… it will probably be located under either “Appearance”, “Tools”, or “Settings”. Sometimes (rarely) I have seen plugins load under the “Post” or “Page” heading. ALSO… many plugin’s have a “settings” link next to the activate link on the plugins page… that will usually allow you to set it up… or if you are still unable to locate the plugin you can usually visit the “authors” website to read more about it. The link to the author is usually on the plugin page after the description of the plugin.
