I have been warned to stay away from Lexmark printers (even new ones), because they are worthless. I paid $ 85 for a HP printer/scanner/copier, and it it works well. HP is a well known company, famous for support.

No, you cannot use plugins for blog hosted at http://wordpress.com

You can use plugins only for WordPress software downloaded from http://wordpress.org/download and that way self hosted.

Change your CSS:

table {background: urlbackground.jpg); width:xxpx; height:yypx; }

where xx equals the width of your background image in pixels and yy equals the height. You could use the number of pixels larger than the actual size, but the image will not look good.

However, this will confine your table to the size of your background image. Not knowing the size of the bg or what you really want it to look like I can’t say if that is good or bad.

when you declare width and height in css, you declare it for the table, not for the background-image.
I suggest put this between your

tags

and the css should look like this:
#bg { width:73% ; height:200% ; display: block; align=”center” }
that should do it

You definitely need to use a proxy server, just for starters. A proxy server will keep your IP address hidden and protected which is a huge thing now with all the companies that spy and track the information.

You also need to do some other things like keep your passwords protected, clear the cache, etc.

There are many things you can do, but the easiest are to use Mozilla Firefox and not Explorer or any other service.
Also you can set Cookies for added privacy by clicking Start/Control Panel/Internet Options and click the Privacy Tab.
Go down and click Advanced, then check the Override Cookie Handling box and set it to Accept first party Cookies, block third party Cookies and Accept Session Cookies.
