Georgia 'Idol' Internet sensation to perform at Grammys (Tifton Gazette)

A Georgia civil rights veteran who became an Internet sensation with an audition on "American Idol" is taking his talents to the Grammys. "General" Larry Platt performed his original song "Pants on the Ground" for the judges at the national talent competition.
